Math? Say what??

Today, my bit*h asked me for a help.

She was given this project by her teacher,
which she basically has to make a poem..
about MATH and NATION.

As a math-hater i am, my first respond was:
WTH?????

Haha. Couldn't think of a better respond.

Well, she already did the first lines.

It sounded like this,

Do we learn math to add the dead' sum?
Subtract the weak ones,
count cash for great ones?
Shall we multiply or divide the nation?
Break down like fractions,
Send our sons away to die?

At first i was like, whoaaaaa too many language i don't understand!
Math language is not a human language! haha.
But i thought it was already good.

So as a media and communication student i am,
or a girl who updates her blog pretty often (yes, i do realize this. haha)
I told her..

"There's too many information you put in one stanza. (the paragraph in poem, just googled it haha). If there's too much info already, you can't write anything else.
Break it down.
Like for example, you can talk about "multiply" or "subtract" first.

"Subtract the money for those who in need,
not for those who can only sit in government seats and do nothing."

or

"Should the nation multiply the wars and multiply those who died?
Multiply the blood?
Multiply the tears shed?
Multiply the family who worried sick over night and day,
waiting for their love ones to come home?"

Long story short,
She used this for her poem :)

Hm, moral of the day..

Everybody must have their "thing."
No! i don't mean in erotic kind of way.

I mean,
there's always something that you really good at.

Singing? Dancing? Taking good photos? Teaching? Writing? or even just.. Smiling?

Whatever it is,
whatever your "thing" is,

use it for good.

Be a blessing.
For those who in need.

Coz also last time i checked,
self-centered people don't have too many friends.

Self-less people do. =)

Off i go,
muSHAdool.
